Want to play in the ECHL?

The Toledo Walleye will begin their inaugural season in the ECHL this fall. If you think you have what it takes to play minor league hockey you should try out, if you have a cool $250 to spend.

To Prospective Players:

My name is Nick Vitucci and I am the Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations of the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. We will play our inaugural season in 2009-10 at the brand new Lucas County Arena in downtown Toledo.

Do you think you have what it takes to be a member of the Toledo Walleye? Here is your chance to prove your abilities. We will be hosting a Free Agent Tryout Camp prior to our main camp.

The Free Agent Camp will be held on August 22-23, 2009 at the Toledo Ice House. The cost of the camp will be $250.00 per player (paid upon registration) and this will include three separate ice sessions and a camp jersey.

Players that earn the right to move on from this camp will be held over to participate in our main training camp which starts in October. I realize that there are Free Agent Camps all summer long, but if you feel that you are capable of playing professional hockey, this will be your best opportunity.
