Set for January 1, 2009 the Detroit Redwings and the Chicago Blackhawks will face off in Wrigley Field a year after the success of the 2008 game at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo. This is quite a ways a way so Ill only dip into one of the many story lines. Ty Conklin has started in both previous outdoor NHL games, Conklin just signed with Detroit this off season. If Red Wing starter Chris Osgood falters or is hurt around the time of the game Conklin could start his third outdoor game of his career, by far more than any other goalie NHL.
