There is a country who's athletes who currently will not be allowed to compete in Beijing when the Olympics began August 8. This country's athletes are being punished for a mistake their government has made. Due to a poor home Olympic committee and the temporary one put in place hundred of world class athletes will be left out of the games and denied their chance to compete in the Olympics. With the state of the country who is to say these athletes will be even alive in 2012.
The International Olympic Committee has taken away the chance of a life time for these athletes. Now take a second and form your own opinion about these athletes. Should they be punished for something that their government has done? Or should they be allowed to compete for the joy of sport and pride in their nation which the Olympics is supposed to be about.

OK now that you've got ideas in your head I'll inform you the athletes in jeopardy are Iraqis. Some may change their idea of these athletes, however it shouldn't matter what the political status or the popularity of a nation to judge the individuals. I'm saying no matter what nation your from, the Olympics is a chance of a life time and shouldn't be taken away.
